Looking for a reloading buddy - Burbank,CA area

    Hi,

My name is Max and I am 43. I am looking for someone (in the burbank,CA area) who knows how to reload and could give me advice and tips.
I will invite you at a Starbucks coffee free of charge.
I just have a lot of questions about reloading 38 special.
I know I could look video online (which I did) but I am old school and prefer to talk to people.
I don t care of your age. I am looking for knowledge.

    Cheers!

I don't drink coffee, but if you want to come over to my place with some Skor bars, I can load some pistol ammo and you can watch what's happening and ask questions.

I can also help you. I've been reloading for 30 years, everything from Blackpowder Cartage to Wieldcat and everything in between.

.38 is a easy loading, just use a rcbs rock chucker press. and go slow. record the bullet weight/style, powder and charge.

but looks like you have two good starters, to help, i am a bit north of you. the gas bill would be a killer for me..or you to drive here. but just have fun.

I don’t know what a skor bar is, but I know that poster. He is very knowledgeable and a good guy.
I would recommend you take him up on his offer

Well,,, years ago I bought a lee reloading book and all lee equipment so I could follow along
with the pictures. Taught myself. Don't know if that's even possible now.

Thank you all. I am already reloading .38 with the little Lee classic loader. I think it s more about understanding pressure, the sitting of the bullet (more or less) little things like that.

You want to know about that, have a look here.

Bullet seating is discussed in Part 4.
