i just started reloading for like a week now and just wanted to share a little tip for loading powder. i use one of these to measure and charge my cases.
so i modded the tip a little to make it easier for me.



just used some jb weld to attach the cone tip. Just wanted to share with you guys.

i feel this is a little faster for me when i have all the cases in a tray and just go threw them.

This is what I did to mine. I bought this little machined aluminum piece that connects the powder measure to the die. It works really well. I forget the place where I ordered from but I can look it up if anyone is interested.

The original tip is a reverse cone that is meant to fit over the empty case and center it under the hole.

I think the design is the way it is in order to not interfere with powders that completely fill the case, or come close to the top. So just be careful that your new funnel doesn't interfer with the powder.

Also, be careful that the hole is large enough in your new funnel. Some powders, especially stick powders can bridge, meaning they can get stuck as it falls. It can cause half throws to occurr and then more than wanted throws on the next throw.
