    Win 572 and +p 9mm and 45acp

Going to start a thread for those searching for info for this powder and can't find straight up info on it.

Because True Blue is basically non existant, i was searching for a powder that could do standard pistol and hotter loads. Enter 572. Basically a flattened ball powder, think a thicker 231. Good for shotshell and pistol. Worked up loads for XTPs and here is the info. Don't know pressures but will show velocities.

    124gr XTP
    RP Brass
    XD9 4"
    6 gr 572
    1189 fps avg

    185gr XTP
    RP Brass
    Glock 30
    8.3 gr 572
    971 fps avg

Doesn't meter well from my Frankford Arsenal throw, .2 variances.

Wanted to post this for anyone googling for info. And all I could find is bits and pieces and never brass tax info.

    for 9mm+p loads, consider AA7.

It was developed for 9mm carbines ammo, so the slower burning powder will take advantage of the longer barrel or carbines.
