Regardless of the scale, check weights (preferably more than 1) are critical to see if your scale is zeroed. Check it on a regular basis.
An additional method is to check it against another scale; preferably a beam scale.

I agree, with having multiple check weights. You should also get check weights closer to the measurements that are critical to your reloading process.

Needing accuracy at 10-20 grains and buying a 100 grain check weight doesn't sit well with me.
