    Harbor Freight walnut media?

Is it any good? If so, what's better, course or fine?

    Thanks.

    Does it work? Yes.
    Is it Dusty? Yes.

It is what I use + a cap of NuFinish. The results are as good as can be expected outside of Wet Tumbling with SS media.

Mix in a tablespoon or so of mineral spirits with the walnut and not only will the dust disappear, but it will knock the nasty off your brass in a hurry.

Make sure the media is of a fine consistency and it should work fine.

I think I'll give the HF stuff a shot. Doesn't sound like it's too bad.

I went with the Drillspot deal, it is good to know that I can tumble to my heart's content and still have plenty left over for after the Apocalypse, or whatever is coming that all those people are preparing for... actually, I reckon I will use the 40lbs up in about 2 years.

I went with the same stuff from Drillspot but got it at Grainger instead, except I went with Corncob vs. Walnut.

Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

Do you have any negative effect on the plastic bowl with adding mineral spirits?
