Listing what powders you have would help.

My wife shoots the 147/9mm in our house. She has gone from HS6, to Blue Dot, to Unique. Most recently she shot some BE-86 in disguise and said she liked it best.... so far!

My subsonic 9mm load is Berrys 147 gr over a 3.2 gr charge of Titegroup. Accurate and pleasant to shoot load and chronographs at an average 933 fps.

I do like MG bullets. For 147gr 9mm I generally use heavy plated bullets because they cost less. My preferred powder is WSF, which I also use for many .40S&W loads. Powder charge is 4.6gr. You might want to try a few rounds at 4.3gr to see if you are getting any signs of excessive pressure and then work up.

Ditto on Mac Attack's recipe. I used 3.2 gr TG, 147 gr projo, seated to about 1.15 OAL and got about 1000 fps out of a Sig P226.
