    Moly coating bullets

Is there a company that will coat bullets with Moly?

Example....I'll send them 1000 rounds of 9mm XTP uncoated bullets and they will coat them with Moly.

You don't give a location, so it's more difficult to give you an answer. However, the shipping to and from the coater, plus his cost would probably not make it worthwhile. You can get a moly coating kit and do it yourself. If you're close to a bullet manufacturer and hand carry your bullets, they might do it for you.

I have a moly kit and I use a seperate tumbler bowl just for the moly coating. Stuff can get really messy. I got it from Midway many, many years ago.

I used the Lyman kit when I used to plate my bullets. It came with a tumbler bowl, ceramic media and the moly powder. I got good results and will take the Pepsi challenge against SSS coated bullets. The key is to properly clean your bullets before coating.

I don't coat my bullets any more since I got tired of the hassle and mess. The latest bullet coating craze is with hexagon Boron Nitride.
