    Finalized the .308

So I did more testing, and finally settled on 42 grains of Varget for my .308 168 gr SMK

After making some scope adjustments for the new load I settled and shot as best I could.

The best of today: (with one flyer, my bad)

    10 shots @ 100 yards.
    (Noveske N6, with a SWFA 3-9 optic)

And so thanks again calgun peeps and especially you folks here in the reloading section, for all the great tips, advice and discussions. I don't think I'd be doing this without you all.

Don't forget group sizes are measured from the center of the hole, not the edge.

Noveske N6 is really capable of a .5" 10 shot group at 100 yds? Wow, very impressive!
Will trade liquor/wine/beer for parts and accesories and ammo! PM me. Dont drink n shoot. Offer void where prohibited. Must be 21 or older, etc. etc.

I called BS on that too till I started reloading. I kept hearing how it would shoot .5 moa or less at 100, but I never got it below an inch. Usually a little over.

          Then I started reloading....

Are you weighing your brass and heads? If not, give it a try, also you can get Nosler 155`s in seconds that will squeeze those groups down a little bit more.

Not yet. I'm going to start separating my brass into manufacturer lots next, and weighing the bullets and brass.

              How much +/- is acceptable?
