    Cleaning Brass?

Do I have to clean the brass after 1 shot? The outside and the inside of the brass looks very clean or have very little residue in them.

If they are clean, load away. You only really need to clean them to assure crud from the ground doesn't scratch your dies.

I would tumble after every shooting. It takes so little time and effort to do so. Not worth the risk of messing up your dies.

Some guys just wash them in soap and water then rinse and let them dry.

Me, I like clean and shiny brass, so I tumble once in walnut, decap and size then tumble again in corn cob.

        To each their own.

I tumble everything. My light target loads are generally pretty cruddy tho.

Yes....I tumble everything at least once, the cleanliness or degree of, will determind how long I tumble for.

The real question is are you sure you forgot or did you remember to forget?

I don't decap ,just tumble and I have been doing it that way since 1976ish.

I choose not to have anything between the chamber and the case but air, I want my case to lock onto the chamber when fired, I am not a fan of slide and glide shooting.

I want 100% contact between between the case and chamber, 100% is smooth and shiny, If I lube a case I tumble to remove the lube, just because I can not see it does not mean it is not there.
