What bullet should I be using and a sorce for Cheap bullets ?

OK So im new to reloading and im trying to figure out whats best to use for my reloads... The prices can really vary on the bullets you use..
I have been shooting WWB 115 fmj from wally world and Im just trying to reload something in that line.... bullets at my LGS for 100 was a little pricey at 15.00 a hundred. I dont mind getting them in bulk so if someone has a good connection for bullets please add link..

do you want plated, lead, jacketed, or HP?

are you willing to try lead? It may or may not get lead in your barrel. I shoot it, and the savings is considerable. $65 or so per k if you buy them not make them

            $80 for 1,000 *pulled* plated 115 grn 9mm

here's precision delta jacketed for $85/k in 9mm 124 grain

to really save money, casting from lead is great. takes some time though.

            Berrys plated 86/k

Here's precision bullets, $73/k in lead, supposed to be smokeless/no barrel leading

            $130/k gold dot HP

I've been shopping around the last couple days so I got links handy

I use Precision Delta for 9mm and .40/10. Excellent quality. Their prices include shipping if you order 2000 or more. If you order less than 2000, then they charge $5.

For .45ACP I shoot 200gr LSWC and I order them from SNS Casting. Great quality, competitive pricing, immediate shipping.

              Good luck, have fun.

I ordered the bullets for my 380 from Berry's, great prices, orders over $50 get free shipping, so as long as you order what you are getting by the 1000 it will be free shipping. Bullets are extremely consistent, less than .23 grain difference out of the 20 I weighed on my digital scale. I think I will probably order from them next time I need bullets for the .45 as I will probably switch from lead to plated.

Local feed store 1/8" corn cob media 25 pounds for $ 13.00. That amount usually last about a year and a half. Shoot anywhere from 500 to 1500 rounds a month.

                      I like Montana Gold Bullet

                      Their FMJ 115 9mm bullets are $305 / 4k bullets shipped

If you're okay with lead bullets, I'd try HKDad's. You can find his listing over in the Marketplace.

                      His lead 125 bullets are $195 / 3k shipped

I use walnut Lizard bedding for tumbling media from the local pet store. I throw in a cap full of nu-finish car polish and they clean right up.

+1 to the walnut lizard bedding + NuFinish. My personal routine is to run brass through the walnut medium for a few hours for cleaning, then follow it with another session in some corn cob medium for polishing. You don't need to do the second step; I just prefer shiny, new-looking brass. Personal preference.

Although I add a dryer sheet that helps to collect all the dirt / dust.

I really like the 124gr JHP from Montana Gold. Load that on top of 4.3gr W231 and you got yourself a sweet load.

MG is not the cheapest by any means, but are very accurate. Probably 2nd in accuracy next to Zero bullets.
