I know. That's why I'm not quite sure what the next step's gonna be...

I'm coming late to the thread but I suffer from the same malady. I went to the hardware store and bought a par of C-clip plyers but they obviously didn't fit down the I.D. of the handle. So I just took some metal off using my bench sander (or a grinder will ). No I have the perfect tool. I'm sure I should have just bought another clip but I kept using the same one and it keeps coming off. So I adjusted the angle of the handle so that the pull force is less directed on the handle centerline. I also have some masking tape at the end of the handle to capture the c-clip when it flys off. So far I have loaded several thousand rounds had it has not come apart anymore. Next time I will get a new c-clip

Hmm... Interesting. I like the idea of the tape in case that clip decides it wants to be free again.

I did get an email from Dillon a little bit ago and a new handle is on the way. I'm going to check out the circlip in that one before I install it on my press.

          That sounds more like it.

just get the clip started on the end and then push it on with a deep socket that fits over the shaft until it clicks into the groove.

That would work perfectly. I have one teeny tiny thing that would keep that from working for me, but it's nothing that a set of deep sockets wouldn't fix

The new roller handle showed up today. It seems like it's on there pretty good. I won't be able to swap it out until the weekend.

Just a quick update: the new handle is holding up remarkably better than the first one. Dillon made things right. ")
