    Anyone else load .375 H&H?

Loaded up some .375 H&H today with 260 gr. Partitions...Used a moderate light load of 69.5 gr. RL-15....Grouped pretty well at 110 yards (have a range in back yard). Chrono reading was an average of just over 2600 fps.....I've loaded the lightweight loads using SR 4759 behind Hornady 220 and 235 gr. bullets @ 2200 fps, and they're all over the paper (3-4" groups at best). So far my most accurate loads have been with the Partitions at 2600 fps and Barnes 250 gr. TTSX at 2700 fps.

So if there's any 375 loaders out their I'ld like to here what bullets you're loading and to what speeds in the 230- 270 gr. range?

I load the 260 grain Partitions at 2,700 fps with IMR4350 and they are scary accurate. I also load the 300 grain TSX with IMR 4064 to 2500 fps for my main hunting load and the 300 grain barnes banded solids at 2550 ps with Reloader 15 for serious penetration.

Years and years ago, John Wooters did an article on the flexibility of the .375. Had it loaded for everything from mousefarts all the way up. True, it may have been a touch much for carrying around all day, but that's not the gun's problem. That's the beauty of a big gun - with experience and time, you can learn how to load it as nice or as nasty as you're in the mood to experience. I've never experienced a .375 H&H, or a .375 Ruger, but it's on my bucket list.
