Reloading Press Dilemma

I know that the "what press should I get" has been discussed a time or two, but here is my situation. I was given a bunch of reloading gear by my grandfather, and I have 4 single stage presses (I have no clue what exact models)

1.) RCBS Large Press
2.) RCBS Small Press
3.) Ancient Redding Press
4.) Ancient Redding T-7 Turret

I have tried all the presses (.223) and the newest press (RCBS Large) works the best, and I have produced quality rounds (slow!) I liked the idea of the Redding turret, but the handle doesn't stop @ TDC making for a very annoying handle action. The Ancient Redding doesn't stop @ TDC either.

I have painstakingly processed the brass and primed nearly 1,500K .223 brass, but I am seriously considering getting a progressive. I am looking for something that I can crank out rounds without breaking the bank. I only shoot for fun.

I would like to sell 3 of my presses to buy a new one... what are the ballpark going prices for used presses?

Is the Lee Loadmaster a wise choice?

I bought My RCBS Junior for $20 but it was in fair shape at best when I picked it up.

I am guessing that your RCBS small press might be a Junior

Dillon and Hornady seems to get the best reviews. I have a Dillon 550 since 1992 and can't say anything but good about it and the service I have had from Dillon. I loaded on a RCBS Rock Chucker from 1976 to 1992. It is nice to have a single stage press,but the progressive press is nice because once you get through the learning curve which is really the feel and fine adjustment "not hard at all with your experience" I can easily do 300 rounds of carefully loaded rounds an hour, though I am slow.

Dillon and don't look back. Your other presses are worth $30-50 probably, but keep one for quick use and small stuff.,

Stick with Dillon for progressives. Though if you really want to try out a load master I've got one I'd be happy to sell you.

For a time, I had two Dillons, an RCBS Rockchucker and a Lyman turret press on my bench. I had to put the turret press away, when I picked up another Dillon. If you can afford it, and have the room, I'd keep the turret and the large RCBS. I use the turret for decapping and load development. The RCBS is for pulling bullets, sizing the occasional cast bullet and other miscellaneous jobs.

I've loaded 1000 rounds or so of .223 on my Loadmaster and the only issue I've had is getting the Pro Auto Disk set up and working correctly with the double disk kit. When they sent me the double disk kit, the bolts that were included with it weren't long enough, but I called Lee and they sent me the right ones. I also had to convert the Pro Auto Disk to spring return, since the chain kept breaking with 2 disks on it.

Once I got it all dialed in, I was able to get consistent 25gr throws of TAC for 55gr and 62gr plinking rounds.

I still load my 69, 75 and heavier bullets by hand.
