If it's really brass and not steel case, I'd take it in a heartbeat.. I have a use for it

Do you mean it's new unfired berdan primed cases or was it loaded and you fired it already?

              I wouldn't mind having a couple as a sample.

I wouldn't think twice about taking this offer. It's not worth the added hassle of ordering berdan primers let alone decapping them later.

The problem today is that the berdan pistol primers are probably not available.
Those 9mm cases possibly take a 4.5x2.1mm primer, all the berdan primers advertized lately ( tula, etc. ) are (as I understand) 5.5x 2.9 mm for rifle cartridges.
These berdan dimensions can vary considerably with country of origin and the age of case.

You can still purchase berdan primers from Graf and Sons.

I would think it would slow you down a bit in the primer removal dept. I've read on other post and articles that the RCBS system is not that great on brass. You can You Tube how to remove berdan primers via hydraulic (water) method. Cheaper than buying the tool that cost around $70 to $80.
