    What reloading componets to buy?

I have about 7000 primers on hand, 1k of 62 gr fmjs' and 1500 Nosler 69 cuctom compititions. Been tring to decide wether to buy more primers or more bullets.
With primers seemingly harder to get i have been leaning that direction. If I do I can probably strech my finances to get 2 cases, that would last me a couple of years. Midway has there $20 off sale. So I would save the has-mat with that.

If I go the bullet direction, I am leaning toward either a case fo FMJs' from Montana gold, 3500 for 218.00 or 3000 from PV.

I'd say bullets since those still haven't gone up across the board for the most part. You should still be able to get an order in before the 1st at 'old' prices. I just ordered 1200 75gr 22cal A-Max bullets this morning which should tide me over for at least 6 months worth of standing slow fire practice.

Primers have already increased, and believe it or not, are easy to come by if you look hard enough.

I'd buy primers but, I cast my own bullets. In your case, I'd tell you to buy bullets.

Buy both, prices are increasing. Primers over the last three buys have gone up $2.50 a sleeve each month compared to bullets that have only gone up $10 a case (but $60 a case since the beginning of the year) so I'd say primers are going up faster. Rumor has it metal prices are set to come down a bit in '08 but it's uncertain whether primer/bullet prices will drop accordingly. $218 a case of 55gr FMJ .223s isn't bad but if you consider they were only on the market for 4 months or so before the $10 a case increase, it's heading up quickly too. Almost all primers other than Federal have been readily available all year so no shortage, just the price increases...

I think I will go the bullet route. As I have a few primers on hand and can accuire them locally at a higher price, but no has-mat charge.

          Thanks for the help

I have been able to find them at differant sites at around 107.00 to 110.00 a case for Rem 71/2s'. If one site is out, the other usally has them.
