Reloading options in black powder shotgun

I just got an 1887 Winchester. She is old and ugly, but a really cool shotgun. I loaded up some shells really light with 55gn of FFg and 1oz of shot this weekend. They shot great and were a real blast. I think i have the BP bug.

Not normally being a shotgun reloader and brand new to BP, I am looking for some resources or suggested loads. Specifically buckshot, slugs etc. Has anyone done "wax slugs" with BP? Results? Aside from obviously keeping the loads light due to the gun's age, any other pointers or suggestions when shooting and loading more than just birdshot?
