    Suggestions for components

I have a new press (still in the box) and a gun show is coming up in a couple of weeks. I want to pick up some reloading components for 25.06 and 9mm
I'm just a recreational shooter and would like to hear some suggestions on powders, primers, and bullets for these two cartridges. Thanks!

Unique is a good pistol powder, as is several others. Never loaded 25.06

I would check your manual & see what powders & bullet weight combos are common. Write them down, so when you get to the show, you pick up something you ca use. unless you go a sure load in 25.06, I would not buy more than 1 lb cannisters of powder.
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.

No idea about 25.06. But for 9mm, I would stock up on some W231/HP38 and Winchester SPP. Excellent combo for 9mm.

For 9mm, I'm a fan of TiteGroup and Accurate #5

Check out my chart here for 9mm and you can see the publish starting charge is and how many charges are in the bottle.
Some guys like their powder like their women, hot, cheap, dirty, that would be TiteGroup. -CocoBolo

Never done .25-06, but Titegroup, Bullseye, and W231 are all good for 9mm. Typically for so-called "overbored" cartridges like the .25-06, the slower-burning powders tend to have an advantage.

Montana Gold Bullets are cheap (8.5 cents per jacketed bullet when purchased in a case of 4k) and available if you order through their website.

Win231 or unique for the pistol.
I shoot 100gr bullets and use IMR4831 powder for my 25-06. It is a one hole shooter with 56grs of IMR4831, mag primers and most 100gr bullets. I have rem bullets and Nosler BT ones for target shooting and Nosler partition for hunting. I will be testing 100gr and 120gr Swift A-Frame bullets for my Africa hunt. I am also testing the Swift Scirrico in 100gr for other hunting.

Also, I like Montana Gold 124gr JHP 9mm rounds. I hear Zero bullets are a bit more accurate, but a little more expensive and harder to get usually.
