    First .223 - semi spitzer won't fit...help

Ive been reloading .30-06 and .45acp for a couple of years with my rcbs rock chucked single stage and dies but having problems with my new .223.

My expander die is not flareing my shell to allow me to seat my semi-spitzer bullet.

The decamping pin pushes out the old primer fine and is 3/16 below the end of the die.

After tumbling and trimming, the bullet wont sit at all in the case.

    What's going on? Thanks

Maybe you need to chamfer the inside of the case neck, or use a case expander die? Flat base bullets can be difficult.

Agreed. Be sure to check the case length.
