They stopped commercial exports for close to a year back in 2005-2006 because they got a huge contract to supply the U.S. military. Maybe you are just hearing old news that has been floating around since then. Or maybe they got another huge contract?__________________

Korean Govt place a huge order with PMC which is why imports are low. This is from the horses mouth. There is a small qt coming into the states in a few months than after that expect to see more by 2013.
RWS same issue Turkish Military purchased a large qt so their priority is filling that order.
Expect the same for Aguila as they are getting ready to prep a large order for Mexican Military.
Right now good quality ammo is hard to come by and what is left is being hiked up like you wont believe b/c of supply and demand. Also don't blame your store the prices are being jacked up by the few suppliers. This was confirmed by multiple sources I have spoke to.
