Which gunpowder? ~ several calibers

Well I finally broke down and ordered some Lee reloading equipment and I need some help with gunpowder for the following calibers. What do you guys recommend?

.223

.45 ACP

.45 Colt

9mm Luger

.416 Barrett

I use H335 (bulk loads) and Varget (precision loads) for .223. I use Bullseye for 45acp and 9mm light target loads.

Win 231 is great forgiving powder for learning the hand gun stuff.
I love Reloader 7 for the 55gr fmjbt AR rounds.

I Use Clays for the wifes light recoil 9mm loads and Bullseye for my 9mm loads.
Clays and Bullseye are great powders but don't have as much margin for error like W231

Ramshot TAC and VV N140 are my favorites for .223

For .416B I would suggest H50BMG

IMR4895 for .223 (mostly because it works so well in .30 cal applications) Varget is very popular though

W231 is good stuff for most pistol loads

I'm not a vastly experienced reloader like others but I have had great luck with "power pistol".

For handguns, I have 231, Bullseye, Unique, and just bought some Blue Dot to try
For the 223 I have used H335, Varget, but so far the best loads for me have come from BL-C(2).
For the 416...dunno don't have one.

I'm an Alliant powder guy just about all the way. 45 ACP, 45 LC; Bullseye, and I use Unique for the 9; and 40 S & W.

I have never owned a .223, but shot a lot of .222 in the past - always could manage "one ragged hole" at 100 yards with 4198, and if I ever get a .223, that's where I'd start.

I been using IMR 8208 XBR for my .223 and .308 with great results ! For my 9MM I use Power Pistol.

^^^This. I've had decent results with it in 9mm, .38 & light .357 Magnum, .45ACP.

It's my go to powder for 147gr 9mm loads.

HP38/W231 (same powder) is in the neighborhood of Unique on the burn rate chart but meters much better.

.223: H335 or Varget, as others have said

.45 ACP: Bullseye or Titegroup, both are equally good

.45 Colt: Titegroup (1st choice), Trail Boss, or Bullseye

9mm Luger: Titegroup or Bullseye

.416 Barrett: Never loaded that one, but I'd first try H50BMG.
