    Barne's Tripple Shock

So, I bought these, http://www.basspro.com/Barnes-Tipped...10206920/43321 Should be here tomorrow. What kind of performance can I expect? 180 grain, 30 cal. (300 win mag) I'll be working up a load using Reloader 22. Flight? Energy down range? Anything else I should know?

If you have a chrono..once you've established your accurate load you can use this little calculator http://www.handloads.com/calc/ The Barnes 180 TTSX has a BC of 0.484. Also use Barnes loading instructions because this 180 grain bullet results in reduced case capacity compared to lead 180's......Lucky you they published it online using RL 22. http://www.barnesbullets.com/wp-cont...WinMagWeb2.pdf

I have been using TSX bullets in my 300 WSM, 350 Rem Mag, .30-06, and .356 Winchester for hunting. My experience has been great. Accuracy is as good as any bullet out there and the performance on animals was very consistent. I have recovered several bullets and they always open up and retain a significant amount of they're original weight. Craig Boddington has been using them a lot lately (last couple of years) and swears by them. Good luck.
