once fired 45 acp brass

I have a few thousand 45 acp brass casings I was wondering what a fair price is for each 1000 is and where I might be able to sell them? 95% of them are winchester 2% federal 2%pmc and 1% mixed head stamps.

I would say anything you can get over $50/M would be good. Commercially once-fired goes for $55 to $75 depending. Where are you located?

I agree, I pay an average of $.06-.07 a case for quality headstamps like you appear to have by the K delivered to my door, usually from GB dot com.

some people clean some dont i do not seeing as i do not reload or have any of the equipment to do so

When people buy once fired brass, is this cleaned before sold or just picked up from the ground, bagged and sold dirty?

When I am buying once fired, I care much less whether it was tumbled, much more what headstamp and condition.

When I was buying used brass I wanted it dirty & cheap.

If it's really dirty (muddy clods, etc.) maybe a once through in walnut or Lemi Shine soak to clean it up...The usual soot & stuff... no problem.

You can have a look here & see what used brass is going for. I usually bought mine by the Medium Flat Rate box. IIRC that's about 1200 or so. Could be wrong...

I paid $55 for 1k cleaned Win headstamp at the OC gunshow in January. Just a reference for you.
