Gas Checks- Anyone Make Them?

Yes, Hornaday and Lyman make them, crimp on during sizing about $.03-.04/ea last time I checked which was a while ago. Probably like $8 each now...

Thanks, I guess with this crowd I should have been more clear.
I was speaking about individuals on this board making there own and not
buying from major manufacturers.
It's my understanding they are expensive and making your own
would save a lot.

A lot of people over on Castboolits make their own. I assume that you know there is a subforum over there just for gas checks. I believe there is another manufacturer of check-makers called Freechex. I have heard lots of good stuff about Pat Marlin's check maker though.

If you regularly use gas checks, then you should seriously consider picking one up. You can use aluminum or copper. I remember reading somewhere that people have even used soda cans, but I think they're a bit thin.
