    Gun show ammo?

Going to the Crossroads of the West Gun Show tomorrow in Del Mar and looking for good deals on ammo... who isn't right?

Suggestions on what to look for? Stay away from? I've been to all the ammo web sites suggested on the forum but thought I'd ask the experts that go to the shows all the time. What are the good vendors at the show?

    Looking for.

    Thanks in advance.

    Miwall

I don't know if Ammo Bros. and LAX Range goes to Del Mar. Others will chime in.
The bullets with my name on it I'm not worried about, it's the "To whom it may concern" ones I'm worried about.

+1 for Miwall. I have purchased and shot .40,45 and 223 from them and have never had an issue. I have tried LAX and it seemed pretty dirty to me.

Miwall and LAX are good. Stay away from the dude out front selling reloads in bags. They are awful. Lots of split necks and a couple of misfires on some 357 a buddy of mine bought.

Funny you said stay away from the guy out front because when I first got my 9mm and 40, I purchased bags from him because he was the cheapest and I didn't know any better. I was new to reloads and hand guns in general and about 1 in 20 rounds had an issue not to mention they were not sorted very well and I would find a 38 in my 9mm bag, if I wasn't paying attention it would be loaded and guess what, issues. keep in mind I have a glock 17 and it will run flawless with just about anything... almost.

That's why I thought I'd ask in this forum, you guys have nailed it, helping me out big time.

Another plus for the folks at Miwall. Ive used a lot of their re-loaded and new bulk ammo, and never had a problem. Their prices are good and they usually carry a large variety of most of the common rifle and pistol calibers..

I went to the Sacrameto gun show last week and Miwal prices beat out ammo prices at
walmart. Get there early if your buying bulk.....

Thanks guys, went to Miwall and got some ammo, not everything I needed because of funds... But is it worth while to go back tomorrow and see if prices have dropped at all? Do they lower prices at the end?

                      Thanks

+1 to this, good stuff always , early, early for the bulk, people bring hand trucks and p-carts . They rock !
Lead will be worth more than silver and gold when they are giving it away free !

+1 for Midwal and LAX, I've used both no issues with either.

When I can't reload (life getting in the way) I buy these to keep shooting.
