How do you store your Data!!!!

So i'm a noob to reloading. I'm still working on loads that i like and fine tuning my Dillon. I got a chrono for christmas and took it out and had 0 issues. My problem is i'm not sure how to store my data........... Is the best way to just keep notebooks or use a program like excel. I'd like to use excel because then i won't have stacks of notebooks laying around and will be more organized on a spread sheet (just a lil ocd about my work lol).

My problem is i'm not a computer wiz and I am having a hard time setting up a template/format to enter my data about loads and chrono data.

Have any of you found a way to set it up on the computer or can recommend me some ideas. Looking for some advice from the vets who have a system possibly and wouldn't mind sharing.

I use an excel sheet for my chrono data. Auto computes SD, ES, power factor etc. Work up data is kept in a lab report book. And finalized loads are on 3x5's on the reloading bench

Excel is your best friend. I work with Excel a bunch so creating a chart is an easy task for me. Here is an example of what I have made.

I use Excel, pretty simple setup, a separate sheet for each caliber.

JT1989 has a good approach. I also use lab books so that I can cut out the target groups and then tape the Chrono data next to it as I work up a load. Final loads are located in the book but also on the labels I use with my MTM ammo boxes.

I have a 3 ring binder with what has worked for me and a few that didn't, I've thought about putting it on a spreadsheet but my reloading area isn't near a comp. so it's just easier for right now to open a binder.

I made up a three ring binder with tabs for each caliber I reload for, and I use this log to keep track of load info. I put my chrono data into excel and print out the sheet and stick it behind the reloading log page. These stickers from MTM are a nice compliment to my system.

I like drawing up a load sheet

I have a few of these for each caliber I shoot. It's especially useful to have a visual reference for me. Note that these are after I've figured out a load. I then store my old loads that I don't really make, and stick to one or two loads per caliber and those are mostly memorized.

The other thing I do is make blanks with the amount of seat and crimp I want, then write the powder load on the side and store it in my reloading toolbox. I can use that blank to setup my dies very quickly if they ever are taken out of the toolhead.

I have an Excel sheet for each cal on my computer plus a three ring binder for each cal in the garage. I like the binders because then I can write quick notes / hints for later.

Also have my best load for each cal written on the front of my powder storage so I dont even have to open the binders to see what the charge should be.

i use a composition notebook for each size round making all pertinent notes about the load and case --then i reference each new load and organize in 5 shooting groups.

i take this with me to the range and make notes on each 5 shot group

at the end of the day i review my notes and make new ones as to which groups and loads work best.
