    Xtreme Bullets Group Buy

So the last one headed by Na-Va-Duh failed spectacularly at the last minute because they insisted on charging sales tax.... I propose we start another one with the intent of shipping them. Planning on doing this for Sothern California.

Spoke to X-treme today and they will honor the sale price until March 31st, but they cant quote shipping until we have a specific order.

    Here are our shipping options:

    1. They ship to a Terminal for about $650 and we pick it up (quote based on the quote in the previous thread). We would need a couple volunteers with pickup trucks to accomplish this

    2. Someone who owns a business with a recieving platform volunteers and we pick it up from him.

    3. We spring for residential delivery at the price of about $250 extra

The good news is we dont have to pay sales tax, or a gas fee, Just shipping. For freight ive worked out shipping to be $4.30 per 1000 rounds, and Residential delivery to be about $6 per 1000 rounds. This seems perfectly reasonable to me.

Ive done some calculations and this should still be an extraordinary deal. Calculations based on 5000 rounds of .45

Full retail price + shipping: $595 appx.
Group buy rate plus sales tax/gas fee: $489.92
Group buy rate plus Residential Shipping: $470 appx.

Precision delta Jacketed bullets delivered: $620

More good news: There are further discounts when any specific caliber reaches 50,000 rounds.

    What say you?

so for residential delivery, is that $6 per 1000 to each of our doorsteps?

Nope, thats to my (or whoever volunteers to distribute the ammo) doorstep. You guys would still have to come pick it up. The order will probably weigh a good 3 and a half tons, and will come on palets. Im assuming we would have to sort it out from there

Ok, so perhaps I may not be too late. Any way I can still get in on the deal? Pretty please.

I'd even be willing to service Temecula/Murrieta and San Diego for $10 an order to pay for gas. Maybe this could add towards the specific caliber discount by getting more people in. Although I don't want it to get too complicated.

Sweet! Well not cool the first two failed, but I
missed them. I am so in for this one. I have a truck, capable of hauling about 2k lbs. If needed I can probably source a trailer.

            Count me in!

I will help in whatever needs to happen. Let's get this moving now!!!! I need boolits.

He said he was but since hes up in Nevada and wont be participating it would be unfair to have him manage the buy. Plus we need to get the ball rolling on this

So mark are you managing this? Has anyone asked the other groupbuy members if they are still in? What is the timeline?

I am in. I will help out in anyway to get this done. I NEED boolits like now.

                    $650 to a terminal isn't bad I think... Considering 7k lbs.

Neighbor is a trucker. I am going to talk to him. There's a possibility he may have some insight to ship?

                      CGN roadtrip???

Let's do this! My press is starving.

I'm still interested either way but only if something is happening soon. I'm pretty much out of bullets and my press is screaming to be fed.

Im with you on that, I figure we can make it official tomorrow. Ill post the thread and take orders for a week or two. Once all the orders are in ill get a shipping quote, collect the money and place the order.

The only thing left to be determined is if we split the shipping charges evenly or if we calculate shipping charge based on the weight of each individual order. Also need to set a cutoff date

I'm in. Suggest you leave the window open for no more than one week, plus another three days for payment. People know whether they're in or out - create some sense of urgency and let's close this.
