It's my understanding that the Glock has a unsupported chamber and reloaded brass now has a weak spot.

maybe...but I've been reloading brass shot in my Glock for forever and I've never had a case failure.

because all .40 glocks cause a thermo-nuclear reaction when fired. no one is safe near a glock 22 if you see one run because they will kaplode if you look at them funny. oh also.. compensated models will melt your face off and send the bad guy running on fire.

did I done miss any glock myths?

                    ZK,

When I started shooting 40 in IPSC I picked up a LOT of "Glock" brass and yes there is some deformation in there that will cause misfeeds in say tight(er) chambers. At the time, how I got around it was depriming and re-sizing on a single stage press and hitting them twice with a 180 degree rotation. Of course those were the days that my Dad and I loaded all my ammo on a pair of single stage presses.

Soon after, I upgraded to a RL1050 and bought a Casepro roll sizer. Heaven on earth was in my garage. Brass through the casefeeder and roll sized to perfect spec. This, to some, is an expensive way to go about things, but you make it up with speed of correcting the brass. If you've never used one, you don't know what you're missing.

A less expensive option is to go with an EGW (Evolution Gun Works) U-die. George Smith (master gunsmith) has these for sale and they go a good amount lower when resizing your brass. They're about $40 and worth it.

                    Hope that helped.

About a month ago someone at SSA in Norco running a Glock 34 (9mm in case you don't know the number-to-caliber chart off the top of your head) with reloads had a KB. The guy reloads a lot and was using FMJ in the Glock. Yes, it could have been something else, but I'm just reporting what happened.
