I am looking for some 5.45ammo. I found some military surplus at j&g sales its 1080 rds for $149 should I get it or stay away from it? Thanks for any help

I have a friend with a 5.45 dedicated ar15. He uses the crappiest dirtiest cheapest ammo out there and guess what? $149.90 for one can $144.72 each or 2 or more. Sales tax is high in Prescott -- over 9% shipping more than 2 is probably cheaper than buying in person. Governments everywhere screw people; some more than others...
Price is up about $5/can since I last bought some.
