    Bulk 40S&W Ammo?

Where would YOU buy 40S&W in bulk from?

    1000 Round lots.

    What brand? Who is reputable?

I have a USP 40 and I would like to keep putting quality ammo through it, but the prices are starting to add up.

    Your thoughts are greatly appreciated!

Go to Walmart and raid the ammo depot. Get the WWB and CCI Blazer Brass.
    Long live CALGUNS!

    Selling: ✮ GLOCK ✮ Beretta ✮ SIG Sauer ✮ Stuff ✮

      Reload.

Buy a Dillon press, Montana Gold or Zero Bullets, Winchester Primers, the powder of your choice and start making them for $120 per thousand. It doesn't get any cheaper and you would insure your quality.

Think about it, if you spend $500 on a reloading setup but save 2/3s of the cost vs factory ammo, how long before you break even? At 2,000 to 3,000 rounds, you're already ahead...

Fiocchi FMJ from various online retailers (sportsmans guide, midway USA, etc.)

I have run several thousand rounds through my USP40.

I've run 5k+ of MiWall's .40s&w thru my glocks and my STI Edge. I've found 1 round with the primer backwards.

Natchez Shooter's Supplies if online. Otherwise you can't beat Walmart. WWB and Blazer Brass are very good practice ammo.

Guess my typical luck, when I find out Walmart is the place to get cheap ammo, all the local stores stop selling it.

I was recently told that gun shows, even the small ones, are a great place for cheap ammo ... not just beef jerky.

Ah, I see someone moved my thread. Thanks!

                      Great tips folks! Thank you!

Kwest, I'm trying to find some stuff around $10-$14 per 50 rds. I would definitely support someone from the forums first, but I've got to be able to afford it.

I've been firing the Blazer aluminum for about $15-$18 per 50, and that's getting expensive.

Is that aguila ammo from aimsurplus any good?

                            Went into walmart today..

I would have never thought in a million years that Walmart was THE place. Bought 20 boxes of 50 in Blazer Brass. Had to pick up a case of 12ga bird shot for clays too!

I'll be back there probably next week to pick up more!

I've shot several thousands in 9mm, 40SW and .357 magnum,
so far not a single problem.
