    KUDOS to RCBS !

I had to go to Oroville, CA last friday to pick up some steel for a job.
    Oroville is home to RCBS
I brought along my 30+ year old RCBS powder scale (Model 10-10 by O' Haus but unmarked) to try and get a new 'tenth grain' scale that I lost on the shop floor many moons ago.
My Dad and I went to the front door and rang the buzzer. A Beverly Cowden and Kent Sakamotoman opened the door and allowed us in. The Kent told us that they are not open to the public on Fridays. I told him I was from out of town and didn't know or didn't remember. He saw me holding my old powder scale in my hand. He looked at it and confirmed it was an older model. He left the room to see what he could find. While we were waiting, Miss Beverly handed us a new catalogue. The Kent returned with a 'spankin new beam and fitted it to the scale. He explained how to zero the beam with lead shot. He then commented that my front leveling foot was broken. He left the room and came right back with a new foot and fitted it to the scale.
Beverly Cowden and Kent Sakamoto were knowledgable and helpful, talking with us like they had known us for years. Their service was fast and attentive. My Dad and I walked outside very impressed with their service. My Dad asked me if I was supposed to pay for the replacement parts. The way they treated us, I said I really didn't think so, but never thought to ask.
For those that imagine that RCBS is a giant Corporation, and may have the attitude of such, I can assure you that they treat their customers like any other 'home-town' business. They may have a lot of products, but they don't have a big corporate attitude when it comes to customer service.
RCBS has made dies for me in the past for some unusual cartridges, and their customer service has always been top-notch! I will continue to use RCBS whenever possible.
Thank you RCBS! My 30+ year old powder measure is back in service and as good as ever!

Go RCBS, i would expect nothing less. For some reason the reloading game is dominated by top notch customer service. I cant think of any other industry where service like this is the norm

I bought a used RCBS Jr 3 press that was missing a couple parts. After asking if they still made the parts and if I could buy them they mailed them to me for free. Great people!

It's a hobby dominated by OCD folks, and it's moderately dangerous to boot. Anything less than stellar customer service tends to be looked down on and cost you a lot of business for that reason.

The reloading companies have learned that lesson well over the years as less friendly competitors went out of business.

RCBS has never been a "giant corporation", although it is now owned by one. My neighbor worked in the die shop there for many years and it was always a home town business. Hopefully, that customer service attitude will continue.

They sent me a new bullet seater that was hand polished on the inside for my competition die set...all that cuz the guy on the phone thought maybe the original was crushing my bullet tips. RCBS really goes above and beyond.

Any part I have ever needed, they have got to me very quick and they were so friendly and knowledgable. They have a 300 sizer die of mine as we speak, they are going to customize. The brass would fit my Tikka, but not my 2 Winchesters with tight chambers.I sent 5 pieces of once fired brass with the die and they are going to fit it to the brass. No cost other than shipping it to them. That my friends is customer service without a bunch of(we do not want to) or (can not help you) BS.

The folks at RCBS in Oroville that helped me were Beverly Cowden and Kent Sakamoto.
                  I sent them a thank-you.

RCBS, best damn customer service I have ever received.

I've dealt with RCBS customer service several times now. They are very good in many ways. I am a RCBS customer for life.

The same story with me. I was missing the primer catching tray. Instead of getting the parts list I asked for they sent the tray for free.
