    Old School Shotgun Press Help

    Hey Guys,

I have been reloading Pistol and Rifle for a while and decided to try my hand at Shotgun reloading.

My Father use to load shot and gave me this press. I just rebuilt\refinished the whole thing (pics later) but would like to know more about it and maybe find parts for it.

The press is setup for 12 gauge and is marked as follows:

    Eagle Products, El Monte CA.

    SKEETRAP MASTER.

It still works and crimps great but would like to change the powder and shot bushings and eventually load 00 and slugs.

If anyone has any info or parts for one of these your help would be appreciated.

I wonder if a Mec bar would fit it..

Can you take a picture of the powder bushing? Might be able to tell if a "modern" bushing might work. BTW, you won't use the bar for slugs and most likely won't use it for 00 buck.

Are there any markings on the charge bar. Also The close up picks of the charge bar will help. Throw a charge of shot with it and weigh it on a scale. then do the same with powder. Note the type of powder and cross reference with bushing charts to determine the size.
