Just learned about them in the L.A. area. Was told they sell reloaded 5.56 for reasonable. As someone that would rather not have to crack the Rockchucker, sounds good. Anyone bought/used their ammo?

I've heard alot about these guys, do they reload ammo ontop of selling guns/parts?sigpicLord, make my hand fast and accurate.
Let my aim be true and my hand faster
than those who would seek to destroy me.
Grant me victory over my foes and those who wish to do harm to me and mine.
Let not my last thought be 'If I only had my gun."
And Lord, if today is truly the day you call me home, let me die in an empty pile of brass.

Ammo Bros is run by two brothers, Dustin and Darren. They are both great guys. I regularly buy their .223 reloads ($159 for 500) and it shoots fine, and accurate enough for my needs. It's also clean and surefire. They have the factory loaded nickel cased Remington for $179 per 500. They do their own reloading on several calibers including .223, 9mm, .40 cal, .38spl, 7.62x39mm V-Max, .357 mag, .44 Spl, .45ACP and a bunch of others. They also stock loading equipment, and surplus ammo.
Ammo Bros also sells AR lowers, uppers etc, Saiga, AK, handguns and some C&R rifles. Their range of rifles is usually limited to around 30 rifles and shotguns. This is set to change once they expand their store, taking over the space next door.
They will also handle out-of-state transfers for $50 fee (plus $20 for each additional long gun) plus $25 DROS. If it's CA legal, they'll transfer it.
Life can make you do many things, even kiss a man with a runny nose.

i only buy from ammo bros now!! i have gone thru about 3k of .223 with no problems!!! great guys to deal with. i have purchased their 9mm and 45's. a while ago, i had some problems with the 9mm, but that is long gone!! never an issue with 45. i recommend them to anybody!!!I am offically a gun nut!!!!!Comment

I purchased about 500 rounds of their 9mm about four months ago. I only had two bad rounds. Both were because the brass was A-Merc brass and jammed up my pistol. Other than that, same as factory ammo.Comment

I have used their .45, .357, 9mm, and .38 Specials with no problems. I have also bought Swiss GP11, 7.62x25, and 8x56R. I also have bought a couple of the "Ninja" weapons (they were gifts!).
The only issue I have had is one dented case for the 8x56R. Being surplus, you can't fault them for that. Overall great guys!Comment

I bought a can of 500 / 62 gr. and it is ok for the most part. A magnet sticks to the bullets, so check yours when you buy it. I also had a few rounds with the primers not fully seated. Otherwise, they shoot well enough if you have a place that will let you shoot it.

you guys are buying reloaded ammo with "some primers not seated all the way" and other issues for the same price as new privi 5.56 spec ammo. WHY?

No, we're buying ammo for less ($159 per 500 and $300 per 1,000) than "privi" and without primers sticking out. We can get them at the last minute and support a local dealer in the process (something we have damn few of here in Kalifornia). So where's the problem?Comment
