    Man am I cheep

I got some old 12ga (about 40 boxes) given to me, I was sorting it out and found a few that looked like this.

So I cut them open to get the shot out at $1.70 per lb I just couldn't see not saving the lead.
Q: What was the most positive result of the "Cash for Clunkers" program?
A: It took 95% of the Obama bumper stickers off the road.

That's the "green" thing to do. Otherwise, you would be tossing out all that hazmat lead. It would end up in a landfill and contaminate the land and groundwater for centuries to come. Ed Baggley Jr. would be proud of you.

BTW, I'm a cheap azz SOB myself. I would never toss any lead that I could reuse or recast.

Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.

I would have saved the primers too.

You are neither cheap nor thrifty. I dare you to find another source for arsenic in lead besides hardened lead shot. Unreliable trace content in certain clipon WW doesn't count.

You know. Assuming you WANT arsenic in your lead (I do!). otherwise, sure, cheap and thrifty.
