Reloading Books

can the reloading gurus point me in the right direction?

I want to learn more about general reloading and the effects of rifle barrel twists. (how the twist ratio changes the dynamics)

I want to start shooting .308 out over 600yards and want to load my own rounds

Electronic books are preferred

"The ABC's of Reloading" is a good beginning manual that will get you off to a good start. Get a second manual from a bullet/powder company like the "Speer Reloading Manual".

I have all the books except the Swift one. Hands-down the best is the Lyman book. Get the #49 edition and you will have one useful for life with data and info.

I have the Lyman book and it's not that great, thinking about picking up a Speer one for that. I read that certain book will show different pressure/velocity at certain charge, the Lyman only have min and max, and alot of the different bullet weights are not in there. What's the lesson here? Have multiple sources kids.

My personal favorites are the Lyman and Lee Second Edition books for general how to in reloading as well as having a lot of load data.

For information on accuracy and reloading, books by Glen Brennan and Dave Zediker might also be a good place to look.

Another good place to hang out is Snipers Hide and the Bench Rest forums.
