HELP Lee 1000 Case issue

Good Evening. Ive been trying to figure this out for the last 3 days. Ive watched the instructional videos on the Lee site a billion times. Please excuse my lack of technical terms, and for getting a Lee Pro 1000.

My problem:

During the first stage my brass is always getting jammed on the neck sizer/ de-primer. Forcing me to loosen the top cap and use a punch to push the case out. Im new to reloading but have I set it up incorrect? Is there something wrong with my dies? Im lubing the case and neck pretty good. The case lube im using is Hornady Unique case lube.

I have trimmed the length and de-burred the outside and inside section of the neck.

Are you lubbing the cases? You MUST lube bottleneck cases! Don't apologise for getting the Lee1000, I have one and loaded thousands of rounds on it.

Try the dillon lube. spray on, wait a few mins and then use.

Im lubing the case. The case seems to get stuck on the (Deprimmer Rod??) Pic 3. are you supposed to lube that?

yes you should lube the neck inside if you use the dillon spray lube you will get some in the neck

Im using a kinda wax lube. not spray should i still lube the inside of the neck.

I use lee lube put all my rounds in a ziplock plastic bag and a cap full of rubbing alcohol. I had this same issue with everything I was loading with the spray lubes. The lee resizing lube works great if its mixed with rubbing alcohol, and its way cheaper and way faster. I lubed full case resized 500+ rounds last night in under an hour.

Also you should get rid of the lee dies, although many may say that they work just fine, which mine did for a while, the RCBS Dies are fast superior and I have had a lot less issues with them.

Let's offer solutions not opinions by bashing the equipment. Lee makes a fine product.

decapping rod should not be that tight, everything strait? is the decapping rod the right size? (measure it w. calipers) im happy w. my lee dies, but something looks wrong here.

Im honestly not sure. It was installed in the Lee 223 die. I have never changed it. I rolled it on a table and it doesnt wobble.

I ordered some Calipers, what is the correct width?

Ill measure mine when I get home, but i'd guess it shouldnt be larger than .220. Not to be a wet blanket, but you really shouldn't start doing any loading until you have the calipers, they go a long way twoards making sure you are within safe parameters.

The decapper is WRONG. There should be the expander ball and the decapper rod should be MUCH smaller than the case neck.
I have NEVER needed to lube a case mouth and have no idea why some people do, but that doesn't detract from the fact that you decapper is WRONG.

Is it possible that this die set came out before Lee came out with the Easy-Xpander decapping rod?

That does look just like a straight-wall decapper rod, doesn't it? I would call Lee and offer to email them the pic of that decapper rod. Lee does make things right if something's off.
