    Which dept. is she with?

    It may be departmental misinformation or misunderstanding of info circulating there.

    Also hearing that new laws and the renumbering of, is it the penal code(?), may be creating confusion in some dept.s.

          It was not a threat. It was an exaggerated response to an uncompromising stance. I was taught never to make a threat unless you are prepared to carry it out and I am not a fan of carrying anything. Even watching other people carrying things makes me uncomfortable. Mainly because of the possibility they may ask me to help.

                    Not all LE personnel are created equal. She's mis-informed. Some of the LE I've spoken to in the past are gun savy.

                      Hollow point handgun and rifle ammo is good to go in CA. Armor piercing handgun ammo is not. Maybe she is mixing it up in her head
