    .303 Reloading Question

(I'm sure this has been discussed - sorry)

I recently purchased a Enfield .303 and really like it!
The problem is the ammo or lack or it and the stuff I can find is uber expensive! So I guess the answer is reloading, so what's the best load for it?
    (Brass-Primer-Powder-Bullet)
My .303 is vintage 1943 and the bore is in good shape.

    Thanks for the input!

Get a Hornady Reloading Manual, they have sections for the Enfield. Also, have you slugged the bore yet? You need to do that to find out what bullet size you need.

I'll have to check when I get home. I use a .312, 150 grn bullet. I've used 170's, but IIRC a 150 was original spec. H4895 powder. Have to check how much of a powder drop.

I Full length size once & then neck size subsequently.
Actually I only started collecting Milsurps 3 years ago. I think I might own about 24...They're cheaper than guns that will most likely never get the opportunity to kill somebody...

I belong to the group that uses firearms, and knows which bathroom to use.

Tis better to have Trolled & lost, Than to never have Trolled, at all.

Ok - I put out a stupid question:
How do you slug a bore?
