I'm getting closer to finding the right load for my Cooper M52 Jackson Hunter that Cooper custom built for me. This is a 10 shot group out of a .280 Remington, 140gr VLD Berger hunting seated a hundredth off the lands, Norma brass sorted by weight, deburred, uniformed primer pocket, BR4 primers and each charge of RL 19 weighed. This was shot in a 15mph swirling wind with three shots in quick succession followed by a 3-5min rest period. The three fliers are obviously me as I'm shooting this prone without use of a lead sled. I don't have a lead sled...yet.
It is hard to beat for a 10 shot group, but I can do better still...and that search for the smallest of imperfections is what made me crazy.
