Scale question

I have a Lyman DPS 1200. When it sits on my bench it tends to have a slight wobble (not all four feet touching). I have an gun pad (like a big mouse pad). Can I set the scale on that? It sits very securely and doesn't wobble. Will it mess with the readings? It would be much easier to set it up where I want it on the pad versus finding a spot on the bench where it doesn't wobble.

You cant adjust the feet by unscrewing them?

One of my electronic scales came with a small mouse pad, so I would think it's ok.

1) be sure the pad doesn't interfere with any air vents
2) it should NOT be on the reloading bench. It wasn't designed to be bounced around. I keep mine on a small table next to the bench. Some people mount it on a shelf above the bench--however, my RCBS CM is hard to read at or above head height.
3) If there is wobble, be sure to always re-zero it
4) the "feet" should be adjustable, unless your bench is really off level.
