    38-45 ammo

    38-45 ammo anyone know where i can find some? My cousin has an old
    argentinian 1911 that his grandpa gave him but kind find ammo for it.
    Any ideas?

    You might have to load your own (or have someone you know who reloads, load you some). It won't be cheap, as you will likely have to buy the brass former and loading dies, etc.

      not to be a smart ***, but I would take off the barrel and slide, put them away and get a new barrel and slide in .45 or 9mm at the cost of the ammo, if you could find it changing the upper you will be way ahead.

      but if I had one of those from my Grand dad, I would find / make ammo for that thing just to have it not to shoot it.

        I understand what your saying but we want to know what a 38-45 shoots like.
