    First reloads

I reloaded my very first batch.

500 rounds of .40 S&W. 5.2 gn of Unique powder, 180 gn Bear Creek Molly Coated lead, winchester primers and mixed used brass.

Had zero failures. Nice grouping. Lots of fun.

Only issues is the molly coated bullets smoke quiet a bit. I was warned ahead of time so I knew what to expect.

Thanks for all the help to get me started.

500 rounds?!?! Supposing they didn't work out well, what would you have done?

        Still, glad they did

          Great news.

Keep up the good work and keep looking into each case before setting each bullet.

          Have fun, good luck.

I thought about that. But I am very meticulous. I check and rechecked.

I figured if I follow the book, I should be good to go.

And, if they didn't work even after all that.... well that is what kids are for, lol. I would have put my boy to work pulling bullets.

                Thanks Bill!

You have been a huge help. I am sure I will have more questions the more I get into it.
