Range Report. 5.56 handloads.
Gents,
Rifle: Delton 1:9 twist standard A2 upper. Spikes Tactacle Lower with RRA 2 stage NM trigger. Scope Leapers (yes it was cheap) 4x28 BDC out to 500yds
Ammo:Case Winchester or Lake City, powder used was Varget or BL-C(2).
24.5 grains of the formentioned powder, Winchester Small rifle primers, 68 Grain Hornaday BTHP. 100 yards using 25 yard pistol targets.
Varget powder grouped 1.10 inches at 100 yards.
BL-C(2) grouped 1.73 inches at 100 yards, smallest was 1.2 inches.
The velocity was unknown, will be able to track the speed of these loads at a future date. Was also able to produce the same accuracy with iron sights. Thanks, USMC
