Well Im thinking about going long range. I know 338 Lapua is money. But what does it cost to reload?

really depends on the type of bullets. Hornday interlocks bullets vary from $0.32 to $0.37 on midway. the powder will vary from 75gr to 100+gr.

Recommend to add the annealing process to the reloading process to add more life on the brass.

The brass is your biggest cost. I found once fired lapua brass out of east Canada a few years ago for $170 for 100 pieces shipped. It shoots well. I am now learning how to anneal to soften it up to prolong the life. New brass I have seen for around $2.50 a piece. Believe Midway had it on sale for that. I use the Sierra 300 SMK.

Good question. I would guess Yes! 338 isn't that much longer than 30-06.

Now Deadon, if you have to ask how much, you usually can't afford it...

yes you can load a .338 in a RC, but when putting the bullet in for seating you have to put it into the die first the set it on the case mouth.

I load .300 Rum in a Rc.

+1, I have no problems loading 338 Lapua out to mag lenght of 3.850
