    Favorite .30-30 plinking load?

I have a 1920 Winchester 94 SRC that I would like to take out plinking. What light loads do you all find to be winners in your .30-30s?

I like 30gr of H335 w/a 150 gr FP bullet. H335 seems to have a little muzzle flash but just funner in the evening hours. Haven't shot it for accuracy but it hits what im shooting at when im out plinking. Made those for the wife to shoot mostly.

For a plinking load I like 165 gr cast lead flat points over 8 gr of IMR Trail Boss.. gives about 1100 fps give or take, little chance for a double charge (8 gr fills the case about 60-65%), and 5 pounds goes a long way..

I have a load out of a recent Speer book that I like. Maybe they don't print it these days, but a 110 gr Varminter in front of 30 or 31 grains of 2460 made for a fun load, and I wrote down accurate in my notes. Light recoiling. Standard primer. I have no idea about the STD DEV and all those numbers.
