    T&T Reloading (bye-bye)

    Hi,
For the third time in a row I have gone all through the ordering process only to be informed by email that the item ordered is not in stock. Just erased them from my favorites list. No more!

I'm just starting out the reloading hobby. What sites do you order from? The only ones that I know of are Midway USA and Natchez SS.

        Graf & Sons

Graf & Sons, the reloading authority, has a wide selection of reloading supplies, shooting supplies, ammo and more.
"Did I say "republic?" By God, yes, I said "republic!" Long live the glorious republic of the United States of America. Damn democracy. It is a fraudulent term used, often by ignorant persons but no less often by intellectual fakers, to describe an infamous mixture of socialism, miscegenation, graft, confiscation of property and denial of personal rights to individuals whose virtuous principles make them offensive." - Westbrook Pegler

If I erased every supplier who had let me order and then later emailed me saying they are out of stuff, then I'd not have anyone left to order from. Lately it's been tough for anyone to keep things in stock. I was on the powder valley site last week and saw that they had Federal Small pistol primers. A few days later someone asked me who I used, and I said, PV. He said, oh, I just ordered all the federal primers from them, they are out now..

He ordered a half of a pallet.. 120,000 primers..

              Basically everything they had.. ugh..

It's kind of a different time right now. We've all been spoiled between 1986 (when the feds loosened mail order powder and primer shipping) and about 2 years ago when things started getting scarce due to, we assume, the war effort. Everyone is free to go where they want, true, but in these times of short supplies, everyone is trying to keep up with demand.

I think part of the shortage, personally, is since the ban sunsetted in 2004, well, all of a sudden there was a large amount of rifles eating up 223 cal bullets in addition to the US mil firing a lot more ammo in practice.

US production is pretty much the same as it was, maybe even cut partly due to the different companies consolidating.. But it's nice that Montana gold stepped up and is offering more choices as far as bullets go. Anyway, I can't blame you, it's frustrating needing supplies and no one seems to have them even if the web site says they have em.. Ammoman.com did that to me once, and I'm actually glad they were out.. what would I have done with 4000 rounds of 8mm ammo
