I recently encountered my first reloading disaster it seems. I've loaded up 400 rounds of all which apparently appear to be duds
.38 special - 125gr copper plated
5.0gr Unique
1.440" oal & hmf primer
My first time I though possibly I forgot powder after the first squib happened. I pulled 10 and checked and all was fine. Took those back out and again another squib and another etc. I reloaded again for the 3rd time with cci primers & all was well! I've used these hmf primers in 9mm, 40, 357 mag and they have worked great.
When fired it felt like getting hit in the face with sand. So far I've pulled around 100 and of course my puller snaped (Does rcbs warranty the puller?)
Any suggestions on mass pulling?
