Mounting a mec 600 on a cramped bench

My workbench is small/medium in size. If I mount the reloader on it
its gonna be pretty cramped. Any suggestions for a removable mount?
I was thinking of a metal base the same size as the base of the reloader
with a flange which would could be clamped onto the vice.
Have any of you done anything like that?

MEC already makes a flat plate that will fit all of the reloaders that they manufacture. It works well.

This is how I handled the cramped space issue;
I have a flat 2x4 benchtop with a 2x6 perpendicular for a face/front. I drilled that face to fit 1" pipe, twice, right up to the underside of the benchtop. I then fastened two 1" x 12" pieces of pipe to underside of the 2 x 4 benchtop. I then made a plate to fit the MEC that was attached to two 3/4" pipes that fit into the 1" pipes. I can install and remove the loader very easily by simply sliding it in and out of the 1" pipes that are attached to the benchtop. I have nothing on the benchtop once the loader has been removed.

You can see the two pipes sticking out from the face/front of the bench in the middle.

easy fast way to do it is cut a long thin piece of wood a little bit bigger in width than the base. Screw the loader onto the base. Throw a bag or two of shot on the wood behind the loader and go to town. When you are done, pick it up and move it out of the way.

it is important to have that weight sitting behind the loader so it will not tip forward on the downstroke.

My Mec 600 is just bolted to a piece of oak thats 10X16 3/4 inches thick. I can slide it anywere on my bench and its very stable when in use. No need to bolt it or clamp it down. Just need to counter sink the holes on the bottom for the bolts so it sits flat.

Using the dimensions called out in the Mec manual 3/4" 12"x18" plywood it makes a very stable mount you can use anywhere thats what I have both my 600 jr & 9000g mounted to no need to clamp down also added a 1 1/4 moulding around the edge to catch that shot that always tries to get away
