So apparently I screwed up. Loaded a couple hundred rounds of 6.8 spc and only some of them were within the max length. I loaded two magazines and 1 out of each mag got jammed in the chamber. I stopped shooting my loads and went to back to factory loads. After pondering this a while and returning home to mic the cases (loaded) I some how missed some cases in the trimming procedure. Not good. To remedy this I ordered a case headspace gauge to test everything I loaded and take apart and trim all that I screwed up. Does this sound like the procedure I should go through? Obviously I should have made sure they were to length first. What do you guys think?

get a bullet puller. Pull all loads apart that were in the suspect batch. Since you didn't follow procedure on the case trim god only knows what else was mucked up. Trim, re-drop powder and re-seat bullets, enjoy.
I've had more than my share of cases outside spec. You really do have to be picky as hell. Good enough isn't at these pressures.Comment

I agree too, just start all over again in case you might have missed something.get a bullet puller. Pull all loads apart that were in the suspect batch. Since you didn't follow procedure on the case trim god only knows what else was mucked up. Trim, re-drop powder and re-seat bullets, enjoy.
