      Yes corrosive !! If cleaned properly you shouldn't have a problem. I have been shooting that out of one of my AR"S with no problems.

            No need for Windex. That's a myth. The residual salts are highly water soluble so just plain water is good enough. The "corrosive" comes from the fact that the salts attract water which then causes rust on the metal. Hot water is better, but just plain water is fine. Be sure to dry everything afterwards and use a light coating of oil to protect the parts.
