I was given some reloading supplies some of which was primers, I got about 10,000 Federal gold medal Large rifle magnum primers GM215M. I want to reload some 7.62x39 but I looked on Federal's website and didn't see anything about what caliber these would work on. Some help please

magnum primers are for slow burning powder.

But its not to say you cant use them with a faster powder, whatever powder weight you will use take .5 grains of powder away to start out with ( dont start at max powder weight ), then work up the load and check for over pressure signs.

Mag primers are also for ball powders. I use them in all my loads(made for hunting and play) and have never had a problem in many years of loading. Use them in any large rifle primer application you want.
A 30cal will reach out and touch them. A 50cal will kick their butt.
